My wife and I have proudly called Brighton home for many years, raising our two children, who attended local schools. For nearly 40 years, our family has operated a café on Church Street. Alongside managing our family businesses, I am a design and project management professional with two post-graduate degrees.
Since being elected a Councillor for Dendy Ward in 2020, I've focused on ensuring local government sticks to its core responsibilities: roads, rates, and rubbish. I believe in common-sense governance that enhances public safety, improves parks and gardens, supports efficient planning, and ensures responsible management of rates.
Serving the Bayside community with transparency and integrity has been an honour. I have always made myself available to the community, listening to and advocating for residents. I voted against rate increases over the past four years and pushed for greater efficiency in Council operations. During my Mayoral year, we delivered one of Bayside's most significant capital works programs and secured 16.7 Million dollars of Government grants for Dendy Ward projects. I've stood firm against planning developments that disregard our neighbourhood's character.
My commitment to Bayside is unwavering. I will continue working to protect and enhance our quality of life.
