Dear, Members of the Bayside City Council and the Bayside Community.
As Vice President of the Church St Trader's Association, and myself a Church St Trader of 30 years, I have had the privilege of knowing Councillor Hanna El Mouallem for many years and witnessing his unwavering dedication to both his business and the Bayside community.
Councillor EI Mouallem has been a respected trader on Church Street for over 40 years. His intimate understanding of the local area, coupled with his tireless work ethic, has earned him the trust and respect of both residents and business owners alike. His dynamic thinking, logical approach, and commitment to fairness have been key to his success, both in his role as a councillor and as a business owner.
What sets Councillor El Mouallem apart is his genuine passion for creating a better Bayside, not just for the present, but for future generations. His curiosity and inquisitive nature drive him to learn from the successes and challenges faced by other councils across Melbourne and beyond. He consistently applies these insights to make informed decisions that benefit the entire Bayside community.
Despite being a long-standing Church Street trader, Councillor El Mouallem has always maintained a fair and balanced perspective on all Bayside shopping precincts. He works diligently to ensure that every area receives equal attention and opportunity for growth and success. His leadership at council to date, has been characterized by accountability and a steadfast commitment to holding others responsible for their promises.
In Councillor EI Mouallem, we have a leader who is deeply committed to improving Bayside. His vision for a better, stronger community is inspiring, and I am confident that with him in Council, Bayside will continue to thrive.
Sincerely,
Daniel Vaughan

Dear Brighton neighbour,
I am not writing to you as your Member of Parliament, I write as your neighbour. Like you, I live in Brighton, and want to protect this incredible community.
In October, our community will vote for the future of Bayside Council. The Council election will be our chance to put in place the right Councillors. We need a Council that focuses on what matters. A Council that gets the basics right. When Council focuses on the fundamentals they should keep your rates down.
We must have a Councillor who represents us, that shares our values, and will stand up strongly for those values. A Councillor with integrity and a Councillor with a strong voice.
In Dendy ward, we have a Councillor who has proven himself to have those qualities - Hanna El Mouallem. That is why I support Hanna continuing as our representative on Bayside Council.
Hanna is a smart man, a family man, a hardworking man, and he is a good man. He is the Councillor we need to represent us in Bayside Council.
What also impresses me about Hanna is that he is a grass roots Councillor for Brighton. A Councillor who fights for our fair share. Who understands the big issues, but who is also on the ground to make sure the little things are being done right too.
This October election, I would urge you to consider your vote very carefully and make sure you vote for the candidate who will protect our incredible community.
James Newbury.
